Ok. So if I summarize, you guys are providing the following ranges:
22 Lakhs to 40 Lakhs
20 Lakhs to 35 Lakhs
12 Lakhs to 15 Lakhs

That means, 3 Lakhs to 40 Lakhs. :)

I agree with GC007. I have just been through a similar situation. My previous stamp was expiring on jan 21 07 and had gotten an extension upto 20010. I made trip to India this past december (2006) and was told by my lawyer to get the new visa stamped in India. This is because the new I-94 that you get with the extension has to be surrendered when you leave the country and on reentry you get a new I-94. That will be only valid upto the date stamped on ur passport and there is a rule that with regard to I-94, the last action takes precedence on previous actions.
This was for my H1 and my Spouse's H4 visa.

Hello ncgc, Please post your experience once you get the card back. My spouse (filed seperate) has the the same issue. She received the EAD card with wrong photo and today she received the AP with the wrong photo as well. We are going to send it back to the lawyer, so he can follow up with INS. Is your AP photo looks ok?

His analysis was accurate, if any of you came across the September 08 bulletin, EB2 advanced by two months. Which equates to what vldrao analyzed in the past, the use of 20,000 visas in September.
We all IV members stand united and lets not adverse someone on the basis of his righteousness. Even if a IV member is wrong, let's all correct him.

That is correct. Mixing and matching with certifications doesn't work. Although I don't know about CPA, if it goes towards professional degree.
That's correct, also if the job requirement is Bachelor + 5 year experience is entirely different from Bachelor or equivalent +5 year experience. I have also applied for the canadian PR 1.5 months ago. Yesterday I got a letter from canadian consulate to sit for IELTS as I am clamming 16 points on language skill with supporting documents. Now, I do not want to sit for IELTS..is there any way out? Do you guys know any small consulting firm in canada who can give me a HRSDC approved job offer? I will not mind to work for them for a year if I get my PR (it's better then waiting for GC for another 10 years)...

Have you forgot how many visa numbers the EB1A/EB1B/EB2-NIW consume...if they are not counted it will free up 10-20k visa numbers annually at least...

Here is my situation
My current labor shows title as Systems Analyst (EB3-I category - PD Sept 2002). The code that I can read shows 030-167014.
I-140 is approved in 2005. 485 Applied in June 2007.
8th year on H1B - H1 Valid till November 2009.
I have offer to join one of big 5 IT Firms as Project Manager( working at client through them from past 4 years), however due to the "Same or Similar" clause , I am confused and kind of nervous as well that it may impact my GC application as the job title is not similar to what is on the labor.
This is great company to work for and Salary raise is about 15-20% from current and about 90% higher than what is on the labor. Would this create any issue?
I had kind of made up my mind that I will go ahead and join and skip notifying USCIS of AC21 and will deal with it if and when I receive the RFE, but the prospective employer's immigration guys are telling that they have policy and their attorney will prepare a letter for invoking AC21 and send that to USCIS.
Just tired of waiting for GC and losing the opportunities, What options do I have ?
� Should I stay put and continue to wait till I get GC in hand?
� If new employer notify USCIS with AC21 letter that my new title is PM or something else (but not same or similar to what is on Labor)
- Would USCIS makes the decision on my 485 right there saying it's a no go?
- or Would they send me the RFE later on when my PD is current?
- What if I say I am willing to go back to my old employer on the title that is on the labor, in the situation of RFE - would USCIS accepts that (I have good relationship with my current employer and they are mid size company)
Any Suggestion - Anybody?
Need to make the decision in next couple of days.
