1) write a Letter to USCIS explaining the problem
2) EAD Card
3) New photos
4) New I765 application without fees(If it is USCIS Problem otherwise you have to pay)
5) Passport photocopies.

gc_bulgaria, whos is the primary on your application? you or your spouse?and who falls under ROW?
These are the following I used on top of the stupid cover letter that I am sure they dont see.
1. Talk to Congressman's office
2. Letters and faxes to USCIS
3. AILA liason (through your lawyer).
In my case the lawyer's connections helped. Even though my PD is current now as per VB, till they reach my notice date, they will not touch it.

I verified my 485 Application status online and this is what I found can you guys tel what could this mean.
My I140 is not approved yet.

Called 6 different operators at the USCIS and got different answers (atleast they are consistently inconsistent!)
2 Said it is perfectly fine as long as the amount is correct
3 said they prefer seperate checks but if the amount is correct they will accept it
1 said they will reject the whole package.
On a lighter note i spoke to one really sweet lady when my call was escalated. All i wanted to ask was about the checks, but she (very enthusiastically) looked up my information and informed me that i was not in the system yet and actually apologised to me. Now i KNOW she looked it up coz she got my middle and company names right even without my telling her that. She even said she has received a few calls today and the guy b4 me was a lucky caller as he was in the system as of Aug 8.

In my case, the RD is 10/06 and LUD is 10/26/2006. But, no updates after that.

Thanks. I will go back and reshoot this and experiment a bit. The scene wasn't lit by harsh light - high cloud as I recall. I actually deepended the shadows intentionally in the PS CS2 RAW converter - the original wasn't as contrasty. What is interesting is that while the actual exposure of the blown area should be well within tolerances (If I were still shooting B&W film I would have guessed it at around zone 8) it is just the one colour that is blown - and yellow is not one of the 3 channels so it must have actualy been 2 colours. I will have to keep an eye on my histogram display because I don't have the $ for a 1DSMkII!

This is just believe and what I think is something will be good for EB community. Specially those who has MS or Higer degree from USA. It can be tough for employee of small consulting companies. But that is Reform.
Ultimately they will hike H1b quota with some tight regulations so who ever is genuine can use it.
I know some people are saying that CIS wont be able to process all app and we have to suffer from Illegal people's filling. but if they add , recapture some visa for us in their CIR bill then dates will be current for us for some 1-2 years for sure and we can go to CP route and get green card thing done. I am 100 % sure that illegal people will not go to CP route. and CP route is very quick when dates are current.
only one thing I see if CIR passes.. Lawers.. they will be busy with illegal people and will not look at us because I am sure their fees will be higher than our straight cases and they want it desparetly than us. so lawer may not give attention to your case..

well i got marriage ceremony , not civil yet...because i didn't know since he have this problem in court. and he says that they would let him out once he's in jail.. the chance of he goes to jail is 50 50... if goes he will get about 18 months. will still can do my papers?
I am not an expert here but, can you not get a certificate from the church that you are married while you are waiting for the official certifcate? see below:

They have 100's of 1000's of cases....thrown in one dark room.
They have this Q on their computers, with cases approved Namecheck, background check, I-140, FP complete....
Now, when they are assigned with a case, they will try to find the file....Just imagine its not easy to find the case, but USCIS doesnt put any effort to sort them either.
So, he will leave that case there, go to next one...This is just my guess...

The easiest thing for them is to pick up the file which they can grab from the top and process it if the PD is current. If you are lucky, you will get GC, otherwise , your file is burried somewhere and nobody excepting you has the desire to locate it. On the top of that , they have no accountability..nobody to check if the IO is doing the right thing or not. Nobody to check if the customer service is giving the right answers or not. I was in exactly this position in 2002 and the appeal such as you suggest as second option failed and wasted six months.
I had to start the entire process again. The most frustrating part for me was the department of labor had assisted my employer with the advert and the alteration they made to the advert was the thing that screwed me in the end.
By virtue of the PERM system now you are really not going to lose all that much on your priority date and you could have another I140 filed before any appeal is even dealt with.

I am curious to know this as I quit company A and moved to company B after I got my I140 approved from Company A
And the HR from Company A specifically told me that they would revoke my I140.
But my case status online says that the application has been sent to DoS for visa processing.
It's been more than 3 months I quit Company A.
Probably, it would show up under the case status that I140 has been revoked or something like that.
Anyone has any exp. regarding this?

I filed on 8th August and havent yet received my notices in mail.. I contacted my lawyer today and he sent copies of my receipts and then he also found out that they had received my FP notice .. I am supposed to go on 27th Oct to Newark USCIS... Anyone coming on same day ..
My application is being processed at Texas..
Not many people who have filed with me has recieved any notices as of yet..
So dont worry guys we all should be fine..

we can only guess
i would assume cases that are not substitute labor, porting priotity date, cross chargeability, clear birth certificates, clear employer verification letter, no namecheck issues, no fingerprinting issues, etc
