My question is - has anobdy got their cards without getting the CPO e-mail - I have recd the approval notice on 11th in the mail - but I have yet to get the cards also I did not get the CPO e-mail:confused:

What happens when 485 is pending for more than 180 days and a person already used EAD for his current JOB(because of the policy of the Employer saying that: Once they apply for EAD employee needs to use EAD and company will not extend H1B anymore). Eventually employee will use EAD.
The he loses his JOB(with Current Emlpoyer who is the sponsorer of 140 & 485)? And say he remains without similar JOB for example 2-4 weeks and then finds a JOB with similar JOB description? Does he still remain on Adjustment of Status? Does he needs to be continuously employed till his 485 is adjudicated?
Please provide some input. All your opinions would help many folks!

There was and continues to be lot of discussion around multiple 485s. When USCIS is adjudicating a 485, they look at other pending 485s and cancel them. I had two 485s - 1 on EB3 and the other EB2. EB2 became current recently. They approved the EB2 one and rejected the EB3. So you can have multiple 485s.

By law the job should be in different company. However many desi employers are having two or more sister companies. They get it applied under another sister company's name.
Had it been a different company too this porting of date for B (my example above) is not justified. Because when B had originally applied he did not have the EB2 qualification/experience. He gained it later, so he should not be allowed to use the original date for EB2. The law should be the new perm date for the EB2 should be the priority date.

Talk about your scare of getting too many people with substandard MS degrees. Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. So we cannot tell that they do not have crediblity. They have some valid points also though some of them are absurd. But we need to understand them and try to elimimate their fears also.

My friend sent her package on may 18th and she saw on uscis that they dated the receipt as june 1st... so that can give you an idea.
I sent mine on June 1st....nothing yet.
on june 6th the immigration.com breaking new claims there is a backlog of receipt for up to 45 days.
I am expecting to get mine at least by june 30th because with the flood of applications on july first....whoi knows

Also since Cornyn is the author, other conservatives (hopefully) will not have many issues with it and not many will argue about a bill that has to do with American Competitiveness.

i work for big company...and i have paystubs...
in essense...what you are saying is that if one has paystubs that one can change after the 180 day period even if 140 is not approved...
i am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel...:D
